GENETiC Study
Join the GENETiC sample collection study that will help support ongoing improvements to noninvasive prenatal tests.
If you had Panorama™ testing and have a child who is under the age of 5 from that pregnancy, you may be eligible for this study. The study involves collecting a cheek swab from you and your child(ren) and associated clinical information. Your participation is important to expanding future prenatal test options and ultimately helping more families plan for their children’s future.
Who may be eligible to join?
- You reside in the United States
- You are 18 years or older
- You had Panorama™ NIPT testing
- You have a child or children 5 years of age or younger that is associated with the Panorama™ NIPT test you took while pregnant.
- You are able and willing to sign informed consent
What happens if I participate?

- Please complete this form and trained study staff from the Natera Site Team will reach out to you to confirm eligibility.
- Once eligible, we will send you a consent form electronically. After completion you and your child(ren) will be enrolled in the study.
- Relevant health information such as pregnancy history will be collected from you and your child(ren) over the phone
- A kit will be sent to your home or desired location to collect a cheek swab from you and your child(ren).
Participants who enroll and complete study related procedures may be compensated for their time and effort participating in this study.

Meet Our Team

Jeffrey T Meltzer, MD
Dr. Jeffrey Meltzer is a board-certified OB/GYN physician with over 25 years of clinical practice experience. He currently serves as Senior Medical Director Reproductive Health at Natera. He leads medical affairs initiatives with academic health systems as well as national strategic partnerships. He is a member of the corporate Ethics Council and leads value-based care efforts in Women’s Health.
Prior to joining Natera, Dr. Meltzer served as Medical Director of Community Medicine and Women’s Health at Indiana University Health Physicians and was lead physician of the clinical effectiveness Council at the 16-hospital system. Dr. Meltzer received his Bachelor of Arts in Religious Studies at Emory University in Atlanta where he also received his MD degree. Dr. Meltzer completed his OB/GYN residency at the University of Maryland in Baltimore. Finally, he obtained an MBA in healthcare management at Auburn University in Auburn Alabama.
Dana Falcone, MS, CGC
Dana is a board-certified genetic counselor and Director of Clinical Projects, Content, and Data at Natera. Leading her team in developing and managing Natera’s patient education materials, she is also instrumental in overseeing research studies, data collection, and various projects. Dana is a productive contributor to scientific publications and brings a wealth of experience in both clinical and research settings. She holds a BS in Cellular, Molecular, and Microbial Biology from the University of Calgary and an MS in Genetic Counseling from Arcadia University.
Dana oversees the Natera Site team of genetic counselors and research coordinators who are responsible for reviewing eligibility, providing study information, participating in the informed consent process, and receiving health data from participants.
